Best spells are Shadow and Water. You get Soul Steal which is spammable and heals you in combat, Dark Metamorphosis which makes the blood blocks drop more often for like 10 secs and gets you out of any tough spot quickly, Time Freeze which sucks, but then you get Blizzard so the enemies only get inactive blocks for a few turns. Big combo + Blizzard means dead everything.

Busted control scheme? Touch and swipe controls work great for Chu Chu, much faster than using a d-pad like you used to in the past.
