I'm still waiting on that game "edge" that detour posted to become available again. I just picked up the Wolfenstein RPG and I'm liking it, since its doing so well hopefully we'll get the Doom one too.
I picked up the lite version of this game called "alien crisis". I'm not really sure how I feel about it at the moment. It makes me wish someone would put an aliens/alien syndrome sidescroller port on the iphone. Give the lite version a try, its more like a shoot waves of aliens type game with level ups and upgrades.
I just stumbled across this game too, which looks rather charming and a good time killer.

Lots of mini games, cept I think the only problem is they are all variations of the skee ball theme. But you can save tickets and buy lil carni trinkets and store em on your shelf. I think it even has a lil achievment built in too. It's only like 2 bucks so I may give it a go. Check the site for wallpapers for your phone and more info

Ramp champ is fun.
I've been playing a lot of Alive 4-Ever. It's the best survival shooter on this thing. Almost plageristic levels of left 4 dead ideas, 4 characters, unlockable weapons, exp levelling and abilities, mission based stages. It's just really fucking good. I'd post video but I'm using my iPod right now while I take a dump.
Alive 4 Ever is awesome. I've been playing through the game on muliplayer with two friends during breaks at work, and we have been going after all of the challenges, it is the best multiplayer game I've played from the appstore. and it runs on bluetooth, so you don't need to have a wifi connection to play. Great production levels and depth for a dollar here.
I cant play the multi with my Bluetooth less IpodTouch. Me sad.
