I remember her from sesame street back in the early 80's as well as Gordon and fellow Bronx native Maria. I see the Gordon and Maria characters are still on the show after all these years.

George Michael, longtime sportscaster of the syndicated highlight show, The Sports Machine passed away. He was 70 years old.
I used to watch The Sports Machine all the time before I had cable tv. Just a simple and solid highlights fest with the occasional feel good story thrown in. The show was always shown very late though (like midnight or 1am). I haven't seen him on tv for years but his Sports Machine show ended in 2007.
