I hate Illinois Nazis.
Gibson's character was great. He wasn't that old at all either.
RIP.
No! Dr. Klopek! :(
Damn. I hope his funeral doesn't get redirected to Wrigley Field.
Wanna bet?
I would say he is exactly dead old.
I guess you can decipher dead old on a case by case basis.
"This decoder ring smells like a corpse!"
"Then the old man has died."
Guys, Captain Picard has passed away.
RIP
Jesus Christ, don't do that to me, I almost had a heart attack.
It is 100% true. My physical therapist's dog, Captain Picard, was hit by train and is no longer with us.
Not sure what's worse... that joke or the dogs name.
That is an awesome thing to name a dog. Shut the fuck up.
no it's not, you shut up.
does that mean today is captain picard day in remembrance?
also, Mary of "Peter, Paul and Mary" fame apparently died
First of all, Jason, you of all people should know that I NEVER joke.
And Captain Picard is a BRILLIANT name for a dog.
I am not ashamed.
Mike Knox, founder of Park Place Productions (creators of John Madden Football, Joe Montana Football, NHL Hockey, and other series) died last week of colon cancer at 48.
Here's the story, and the Sega-16 interview with him from 2007.
Captain Lou Albano, famous pro wrestling personality and the actor who played Mario in "The Super Mario Bros Supershow" passed away today at the age of 76.
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooo

Man I remember growing up watching WWF on Saturdays. In honor of Lou I'm gonna get rubberbands pierced on my face like I always wanted.
:( RIP Cap!
I like that doing the Mario is basically just walking leisurely.

The greater tragedy is why aren't The Amazing Live Sea Monkeys all dead.
Actress Alaina Reed-Amini, best known for her long-running roles as Olivia Robinson on the children's program "Sesame Street" and Rose Lee Holloway on the comedy "227," has died.
Olivia from Sesame Street died
I remember her from sesame street back in the early 80's as well as Gordon and fellow Bronx native Maria. I see the Gordon and Maria characters are still on the show after all these years.
Aw damn.
There's still time left for this guy to go!!
George Michael, longtime sportscaster of the syndicated highlight show, The Sports Machine passed away. He was 70 years old.
I used to watch The Sports Machine all the time before I had cable tv. Just a simple and solid highlights fest with the occasional feel good story thrown in. The show was always shown very late though (like midnight or 1am). I haven't seen him on tv for years but his Sports Machine show ended in 2007.
I read the first two words and thought:

I figured he finally got something and died from one of those nasty public bathrooms.
The Drummer from Avenge Sevenfold died. He was 28.
At least it's a band nobody likes.

If anyone called Rush Limbaugh for '09, you might be getting one more in the W column between now and tomorrow night.
Fuck, if only. Bastard will find some way to survive and live on into his 90s, spouting his asanine bullshit for many many more drug influenced moons to come.
In more indie death news, Jay Reatard died in his sleep.
