I don't know what the trick is supposed to be, but I watched for a good thirty seconds and she was spinning clockwise.

Only clockwise, ever. I've seen this up on 4chan and shit and I can never make it look the other way.
edit: it changed directions while I was reading the Wiki Josh mentioned. It seems to change if I look at it with my peripheral vision for a bit. Neat.
