Here we have a man blithering about how he cannot figure out the internet.

that or I'd rather just type in Stone Plush and get result I want instead of stone plush official.
But anyway, not a troll.
Demo something original or in the public domain.
I think we can survive without 10 billions videos like this:

This isn't really about having shitty covers ruin your searches. It's about weather or not the kid who uploaded that is a felon. It is insane for the RIAA to want to control their "property" so tightly that they can charge a minor (or his parents) with a felony for simply loving their product and wanting to try to do it themselves and share it with friends. The video you posted has just over 200 views, so I don't think he's taking much away from the original music video which has 1.4 million views.
You have to be trolling.
Hot, humid, with a chance of a shower of tears. Is it overkill? Sure. But if your industry (as fucked up as it may be) is being destroyed (as much as it may deserve to be destroyed), you're going to do what you can to fight back. Maybe if the current generation didn't steal everything, the RIAA wouldn't have to go to such dumb lengths in order to try to show some small amount of strength.
There is a bigger issue here than just little joey can't post his version of Fireflies.
That issue is the way they treat their artists and sell their material. They go to these lengths because they can't internet, so they just want to stop everyone who does.
I thought it was pretty cool when I saw Target made a little section for some Beatles and other vinyl releases in the electronics department.
Within a month most of the records were still there, only now they had clearance stickers on them because they didnt sell.
So I dont think records are necessarily the answer.
And maybe it is just me, but the "you have to find another way to do things because people are worthless assholes" argument is wearing thin.
Guess I am old fashioned, but I would like to believe society should strive to be better; not just have to keep lowering the bar on what is considered acceptable behavior because "well, people at their most base is the best we can hope for."
Not to make it seem like I havent d/l more than my fair share of shit. But I aint crying about the ways the other side is trying to push back either.
maybe the way things were done was completely unfair. But even in a system where the record companies took 99% of the revenue, at least the artist was getting something. But we have had this discussion before, so no need to go over it again.
Mushmouth nonsense.
Besides, anybody who wants Beatles vinyl wants the real thing.
I've got a lot of friends that gives CDs away and actually pay for the recording on vinyl sales.
And shirts.
Vinyl = authenticity, anybody paying for it wants whatever they figure is the real deal.
