The Obama Presidency

He's done neither of those things and never will, but he's spent a ton of money failing. And he'll continue to spend our kid's money in the same rat hole. Government is not good at anything but wasting resources. People say those who can't do teach, but they really become career politicians and waste other people's money.

And Bush spent even more money invading a country we never should have that is still costing us tons of money?

It isn't his fault it's not working. Politicians rely on those businesses to feed their political warchests and rely on the lobbyists to incur favors from other members of Congress. This can be taken care of by capping the amount of money federal politicians are allowed to campaign with or by making a national fund where politicians can take out a set amount and campaign with it. The latter would be expensive as FUCK but we can fix that by not supporting Israel anymore. The former is really ideal because if you're capped at $100k you can get that from normal people.

Really, this is all the proof I need that Obama is doing his job - which is basically cleaning up Bush's mess:

So the guy who promised to stick to public funding and then broke that promise gets a pass because Congress is in the pockets of lobbyists? Yeah, I don't think so.

The Census kicking in really has a huge impact and dilutes the truth.

It's debatable whether overthrowing a dictator was worth the bill, but it's not arguable that completely ineffective social programs are.

Right, and career politicians, no matter which side of the aisle they sit on, are fucking worthless. Unfortunately, they run Washington, which is why we should limit their influence every chance we get.
