I think Barry can eventually get it done (I certainly hope so) but he needs to stop campaigning, he needs to stop being so MTV. And he needs to stop going any further with his plan, he's done enough, probably too much. We should all want this man to succeed, to be the best president ever, because if he is, our quality of life will improve exponentially. Yet fools still root against this man because their egos and insecurities are more concerned with them being right, than us getting it right. I cannot think of a greater fool than that.

But it's a dangerous, dangerous situation when you take human incentive away.

I supported Barr in the last election for lack of a better choice. I'm also of the opinion that if my tax dollars are going to an irresponsible automobile industry and banks that wrote irresponsible mortgages, at some point I should be compensated with a car and a house. You know, pay something and get something in return.

While I think his bailout plan is a sloppy rush job of the highest order and I'm against it as it was passed, I'm still hoping that something really good somehow comes from it.

Bring on the links. dog$ spent forever linkging shit in the election thread where I was "wrong" because my posts were prior to the economic crisis, which changed all the rules.

Obama is easily the least qualified guy we've ever elected, and his ideals are terrible to boot. At least Jimmy Carter's heart was in the right place instead of looking for the next PR opportunity.

Anyone who voted for Obama damaged this country, so call out all the forum posts you want in response if you want to piss in the wind.
