When Obama was running, I always suspected that he was an agnostic or atheist as well, to be honest. That's why the whole HE'S A MUSLIM thing seems so bizarre to me. I mean, if he's hiding something, I'd bet way more scratch on him being a non-believer. But like Mitch McConnell, dude says he's a Christian, so I'll believe that. What's it matter?

It's hard to get voted into office if you don't believe in a god. I'm not surprised people lie about it.

I'm sure the crowds there were nuts (ie: crazy nut jobs), but I watched it on C-Span. The Rally was to honor the vets of present and past wars. The Restoring Honor part was to show the people what Honor was and is ... and that we've lost a sense of what makes a Hero. It was definitely a non-partisan event. He has Tony LaRussa and Albert Pujols, Pujols was given an award for his contributions to his community and The Dominican Republic. Dr. Alveda King was there and talked at great length about her Grandfather (MLK).

That's not true at all. Having a divisive political figure at an event doesn't make the entire event partisan. That's like calling Memorial Day "partisan" because Obama laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, or he spoke at a soldier's funeral, or at a commencement ceremony.

Her speech was about soldiers and she handed three soldiers medals. Each from a different war (Vietnam, Iraq part 1, and Afghan)
