It's cheaper for U.S. automakers to build in Mexico to escape the UAW and it's cheaper for some foreign car companies to build here than to ship the cars from their native countries. It's all dollar and cents.

But yeah it's just strange how people defend companies that are American, when we get jobs from companies outside of America as well.
Is it because they don't know, or because they aren't invested in our country (In the sense that it's not where their base of operations is) that really counts as being American?

Not saying I agree with the idea of the US becoming a service based economy. That is bullshit. This country will be the biggest pile of losers if it becomes nothing but assholes working retail with stacks and stacks of assholes in suits above them.
