You mean they can't get the 60 votes to get through a republican filibuster. The fact that some democrats fell in with the republicans is bullshit but not as big of bullshit as the fact that they had to get through a 60 vote threshold. Even with those 5 they wouldn't have been able to get it. Painting this as the democrats failure is horseshit and you know that
This has come to be a total clown show. Why are any of these people paid anything? I cannot think of an occupation where there is such a high level of ineptitude, and any that would come remotely close are minimum wage jobs. And those aren't even close, really, it's a joke.
Congress has been actively harmful the past few years, when they aren't passing useful and logic legislation they are ginning up phony showdowns that threaten to tank the economy.
I especially like when they pass some POS bill and then get up in front of the press and talk about what a great job they did.

I'm no expert on the situation, and am just going off what little I have read and what people have told me. All this gun control is about making more involved background checks and "making it harder for the wrong people to buy guns legally" correct? If this is the case, if you are a sane and lawful person, than you should still be able to buy guns legally.
