And yes, how dare people not buy a $250 system whose library is ports, multiplats, old indie and cell phone games, and requires an outrageously scammy, expensive, slow-as-molasses memory card to save and even boot many games.

Yes, it does have Japanese games, which haven't done anything new in 10 years, but then that would also exclude the entire 3DS library.

The library wasn't really the point I was making though. There will never be another current tech, perfectly designed handheld. The market has virtually guaranteed it.

Yeah, as bad ass as the Vita is, there are some serious issues that REALLY hold it back. Not using standard SD/micro SD cards is a huge issue with me. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

The memory card thing sucks hard, especially if you want to have downloadable games like PS+ is pushing so hard for. It's almost like they're deliberating trying to sabotage themselves.

That price is also not doing anyone any favors. I think most of us on here have all bought Vitas only when they dropped below $180 (seems like many got theirs during that Amazon sale), so Sony seeming to push harder for the $300 version to be the preferred ones on shelves is, again, almost like they're deliberating trying to sabotage themselves.

3DS is terrible. Vita is better in every way. Still not great ergonomically.

I got the Vita about six months ago and I am surprised at how much I still use and like it.

There are a lot of ports on the system, true. Ninja Gaiden or UMVC3 or Metal Gear Solid 2 on the go, this is supposed to be a bad thing?

Plus the battery life and ergonomics are both better than the 3DS. It really is a great system, the market doesn't care though.
