I was hoping for a Strider announcement when I first read the news. But that suprisingly looked fantastic. If they can squeeze a 4 player co-op or more it will be incredible. It looks like its at least 4 players from that trailer. That boss reminds me of Shadow of the Collosus with co-op.
Lost Planet would have been cooler if they didn't let me snipe through a lot of it. It's like all the AI and encounters were designed around the long range abilities not existing.

The trailer looks awesome. Looks like they are expanding Akrid mode too, which is sweet. I just want multiplayer with normal XBL features like match-making and a party system. WEll, just make the online like the COD series and fix the annoyances like the roll priority and a simple indicator that lets you know that yer hitting someone.

Yeah, I kind of felt like the game was designed for clumsy aimers. Maybe people who aren't used to aiming with the right analog (which would likely be a lot of Japanese gamers).Quote:

That trailer was great. I really hope they get rid of the constantly depleting thermo energy, though. That was my only complaint with the first game. It prevented you from really exploring the levels.
