Funny, Burg and I were talikg about this a few months back. Since I play mostly RPG's I'd learn to use my tounge on the controler.
Ironic that the thread begins with a thing on how to play a game with one eye. It's not too hard actually. In time, you'll learn to adapt. I was playing games a few DAYS after my eye surgery, at which time I had MAYBE 5% of my sight in my left eye. Still kicked decent ass in WM X8 for the GC though. If I lost an arm, I'd stick to playing RPGs, since you don't really need two hands to play them.
