They're dumbing it down so it can be ported to wii, then you'll love it too. <3.
They slimlined a bunch of shit and I can't say I hate it. I don't have to deal with the bullshit inventory, or specific ammo aside from GUNS and HEAVY AMMO.

I miss the rpg elements, but I still really enjoy this game how it is. I never had a big problem with the inventory. Stuff was numbered, so I'd just omni-gel anything below a certain threshold (enough series 4 to get rid of everything 3 and below, or whatever) right out of my inventory. Building up a slick weapon that didn't overheat or sway was pretty nice, and while there wasn't anything too particular, planning out a well-meshed party is satisfying. I'm hoping in the 3rd game you get some form of greater customization back.
I had a good laugh at the YOUR 2 SMALL spam email I received, and that, apparently, Kelly thought was worth my attention.
Woah--cancelled my eBay listing for the CE. Apparently just the CE weapon and armor code is going for ~$40. Add the $15 for the cerberus card, and $15 for the preorder code, I have the game, comic, artbook, and dvd for free, and will sell for later on.
Hooray eBay idiots!
Am starting the game in the next few minutes now.
Wow, ppl are dumb. The game itself is going for only $45 shipped. I am seriously contemplating it.
I bought a space hamster for my cabin and punched the reporter from part 1 again, giving her a bloody nose.
GOTY.
CE's like this and Demons Souls make me wish I pre-ordered stuff so that I don't miss out. But then I think of all the CEs and LEs that I've picked up dirt cheap months after the games originally came out. I guess it works out in the end.
To be honest, I don't even really want the game, just caught up in everyone else's mania I guess.
Whatever jackass, I'd have ME2 right this second if I wasn't a) broke and b) a good enough brother to buy the CE for my brother's birthday.
And I WILL love it! I like the fact that games are starting to streamline (read: casualiztion!!!) games to be more about What Works in That Game and less Make it 60+ Hours to Justify Price.
I just find it funny that this, MW2, and to a (great) degree RE5 have all been great games and all very watered down/streamlined/casualized versions of their respective franchises/genres.
I hate the weapon upgrading system.
