I've only got zaeed, garrus, grunt, miranda, jacob, mordin, and kasumi so far. I just googled Jack. That's where I was headed to next anyway.

just read that Zaeed and Kasumi were originally DLC characters. Is that why their conversations are always one sided?

Yes.

The DLC character in ME3 actually talks to you on the ship more than once. He was totally cut from the game just to be sold.

There are a LOT of places where he has conversation spots. Especially near the end.

So i came back from a mission, joker tells me miranda and jack are fighting, and i have to pick a side. As much as i love me my broken women, jack could not compete with dat ass. So i took mirandas side. Now jack is back to "normal" loyalty. Am i able to get her loyalty back somehow later on? I have all the characters except legion, and only have two loyalty missions left to do for the other guys. I feel like there are too many companions in this. I havent looked ahead, but it seems like this game is going to be mostly gathering these assholes together with a tiny bit of fighting the geth/collectors tacked on at the end. I hope im wrong. But ive already dumped 30 hours into this. Unless its an 80 hour game, i dont see much room left until the end. As far as story goes, i need to do the iff mission.

You really have to postpone that fight until your Paragon is high enough to defuse it. Jack will hate you for the rest of the game probably.

I did the same but chose Jack and lost Miranda's loyalty. Afterwards I did have a conversation choice that could've turned her around but I wasn't full paragon and couldn't do it. Then Miranda died during my suicide mission. Jack died as well, so moot point, really.

Shit happens, deal with it.
