Help me find awesome things to do in Chicago

My little sister is completing graduate work at Roosevelt University in Chicago and I'm making the trip for the ceremony this May. She has been there a few years but spent most of the time at school or work and I want professional input on some stuff.

* Where are the best places to eat awesome hotdogs and pizza (and anything else that is kickass)?

* What else do I need to do (besides eat) while there to insure a successful visit?

Getting hammered is fun, but I can do that at home. I want to know the best sights, sounds, and foods of this strange and foreign land as told by the experts at TNL. It's really only a three day trip thanks to work but I want to get the most out of it. My sister takes public transportation everywhere so any place out of range of those funny train things is questionable.

My sister lives there, and I went to go visit in early Nov. Unos or Dous chicago style pizza is a must. Get a medium and share, you will have left overs, but they will be delicious.

We went to the art institute of chicago, which I enjoyed. We also walked around the park, and looked at the more interesting buildings in the skyline.

I was only there 2 days, mind you.

Go to the aquarium and watch the dolphin show.

Bring your Xbox and play Gears with the crew.

Sears Tower? Lame but everyone goes there.

You know, even though I lived there for two years I never got around to the tower.

So I'm apparently going next week, for 'spring break' (it's not above 0, here or there). Looking for some seriously cheap shit to do. Cheap greasy pizza, that sort of jazz.

This is the only "spot" I know in Chicago, and by looking at reviews on the internet, it is still one of the best.

The spirit of Janis Joplin led me there back in '96. I'm not kidding either.

So me and the girlfriend are going to be in Chicago from Friday until Monday this week for an ALA conference (American Library Association) and we are looking for cheap to moderately priced places to eat. We will be staying in Oak Park and the conference is at McCormick Place, so any spot that isn't too far out of the way between those two would be perfect. Any other reccomendations for things to do would be welcome as well.
