Crossword Puzzles
Does anyone else do them? I try to do the New York Times puzzle a couple of times a week (the later in the week, the harder they get), and I don't have enough knowledge to get through the whole thing without looking stuff up, but I get closer and closer as the months by.
Both my parents can usually do them to completion on the hard days in under an hour, but they've been doing them for decades and have all their old people knowledge to help them along.
I find it to be a great way to expand your vocabulary and knowledge, so long as you look stuff up afterwords.

I like them. They're like Jeopardy! on paper.

I do them whenever I come across them. I don't think I've ever completely finished a puzzle, but I usually end up getting about 70 percent. I never care enough to look up stuff if I don't know an answer.

Hate them. Will never do them.

My boyfriend loves them. He was slightly drunk at my dad's wedding and said he wanted to go home and do his crossword book, my family got a kick out of that.
I'm terrible with pop culture references and proper nouns in general so a lot of them are impossible for me.

Between WoW and crossword puzzles, it's a wonder you ever get laid by that guy.

My family always does the NYT puzzles on Sunday but I never really got into them until a few years ago. I had a boring econ class so I'd take the paper with me during lecture and do the crossword. They're pretty addictive. I wasn't too good at first but I usually get over half now.
