Looks like we got a new epic fail fighting game tourney video. Love the look on Justin Wong's face toward the end.

This was recorded at the southeast major fighting game tournament Final Round, in Atlanta, GA in March 2009. This footage was the last match of a 2 out of 3 set, Kensou winning the first match, Liston winning the 2nd. The winner of this match also places top 16 out of 240+ participants. In this match, Kensou whiffs an ultra, and Liston executes an Ultra thinking that It would connect, but instead it whiffs, Kensou notices this after standing up, then proceeds to jump back on the stick to finish off Liston who's too busy celebrating to notice before It was already over.
To clarify: Kensou is on the left standing up around 2:25, Liston is the Guy in the brown hoodie standing up as well at the same time. At 2:26 Kensou is the one that rushes down back to the stick.
Shin Kensou: "i thought i had lost honestly, and i got up laughing feeling that i lost it...but i saw viper dancing still so i did what you saw and well...the outcome is pretty obvious.
a once in a lifetime thing indeed~ "
This is cool. I never knew they played Street Fighter IV at Virgin's Anonymous meetings.
LOL.
SF 4 Fail train. CHOO CHOOOOOO!
Wait so Sagat lost that one?
sagat ultra'd way too early to catch the juggle, the ass-end of vipers ultra has her up there for like 5 seconds
Watch close, Viper's already on the ground while Sagat is in his Ultra start-up animation.
And Viper couldn't have blocked it because she would have died from tick damage.
It was just perfectly spaced and the Tiger Knee part of the Ultra went right over Viper, leaving her untouched.
Might be a useful desperation trick against Sagat, if the spacing isn't too strict. It prob only works with fairly short characters, as ducking prob makes you too wide to avoid the block. I'll have to try it in training later.
Somebody post up the Nerds pic please.
so many cocks in just one room
You sound excited.
Really stresses the importance of not being flashy for flashy's sake because a simple fierce xx fireball probably would have won and been easier to do/time.
