I got a free shirt from a band from Israel tonight. They were pretty awesome.
I actually got this a few days ago, but have been staying up way too late playing it rather than talking about it, so into April it goes-
King's Bounty: The Legend, a turn-based PC RPG with some light battle-strategy combat. Why did nobody tell me what a great game this is? I wouldn't have picked it up if I hadn't read about it elsewhere and found it on sale for $10 this weekend. I'd have posted the sale as news elsewhere if I'd realized at the time what a great deal it was.

$181 for a window on my driver's front door of my car.
Apparently, some kind people decided that I needed a new window while I had the car parked in a train station parking lot. They also seemed to think I no longer needed my police radar detector, my wife's old ipod nano, the cassette tape converter attached to it, the bottom half of a broken zippo, and about $20 worth of change.
The people also thought that two other cars in the lot needed new windows as well.
Old windows suck.

Please listen to a description of the illustrations. They are all watercolor, pulsing in hues of blues, greens, violets, lavenders, pinks throughout the white snow and sky. When the crane is freed, she flies into a violent, lavender, greenish sky. The girl at the door is wearing a white garment brushed with the same hues as the sky. The room where the crane is weaving is filled everywhere with blues, pinks, purple, lavender, a touch of yellow. When the crane flies away, the sky is filled again with those colors, but this time overpowered by red-orange slashes. The illustrations are absolutely exquisite. Make of their meaning what you will.
The very nice Decemberists album "The Crane Wife" covers simliar ground, also.

Finally got Mass Effect after over a year. Pretty good story so far, though it suffers from KotOR 1 & 2's rather slow start pace. Love the new combat system, though. :)

Following the PC thread's census I picked up King's Bounty: The Legend tonight. Ended up getting a $15 Sonic Rush Adventure while I was at it.
