And really it's kinda expected that after that barrage last night they'd go to sleep today. The real challenge is waking up tomorrow.
Even though it's early, there's a general excitement in the air surrounding the Jays. Last Thursday I was in a pub with a friend. The TVs were set to the Jays, and for the first time in recent memory, people other than my friends were glued to the set, cheering on the Jays and talking about their chances. This won't last forever, but it feels good.
Let's see if the Jays can make it six straight series.
Btw., I'm pumped about the Yanks/Red Sox game tonight. Despite the fact that I despise their evil empire, I'm rooting for the Yanks to clip the Red Sox's wing, get them off our heels.
