Yea..I saw that coming a mile away. Green is fucking garbage. He's a worse version of Aaron Heilman.
Oh my fucking god. I have no idea how you guys can tolerate this. But I would have killed myself.
Green fits right in as a Met. No balls. Collapses in the clutch. Walks more guys than Perez. And takes his team out of a game because he can't throw a fucking strike.
And the signing of Oliver Perez to a 3 year 36 million dollar contract is making the Rangers feel a lot better about Wade Redden @ 6.5/million per year - they no longer have the worst signing in the city - the Mets do.
My patience is already at or near its end with this team. I have much better things to do like scratching my ass or pulling weeds.
I caught the Phillies/Mets game on Fox today, and Oliver Perez looked horrible. I don't see much of the Mets....has Perez even had a good outing yet this year? Or is he always struggling with the strike zone? Every pitch he throws seems to be way up. Its too bad you guys couldn't have signed D. Lowe instead.
Also, I was watching the MLB network last night, and they said the main problem with the Mets is that they fail to "MANUFACTURE" runs. They said the Mets never do the little things, like executing bunts properly or hitting the ball to the right side, to advance the runners. They felt that is the reason the Mets are losing their games.
In other news, the Dodgers are now 16-8, and they continue to be undefeated at home. *knocks on wood* Hopefully they will continue that winning streak tonight against the Pads. I'm really hoping the Dodgers will run away with the division this year, because I've never seen a season where they just dominated the division all season. It always seems to be a close race that comes down to the last weekend of the season. It would be a nice change of pace if they are able to run away with the division this year.
...AND Randy Wolf kinda sorta SUCKS too. For some reason I've never warmed up to this guy. I disliked him when he played for the Dodgers in 2007, and he hasn't done anything to impress me yet this year. He looks short on the mound (not sure why this irritates me so much) and it seems like you're lucky if you get 6 IP and 4 ER out of him. In short, he is no Derek Lowe :(
The reason for this rant; Randy Wolf just gave up a home run to EDGAR Gonzalez. 1-0 Padres, going into the bottom of the 1st. Lets go DODGERS!
Perez had one positive outing against the Padres and thats it. He's been just horrid in his other starts. After the game Loliver said if he needs to go to Triple A to get straightened out he would go. He's not making any excuses and said he'll do whats best for the team. We'll see.Quote:
