He gave you a joke answer but I'm going to give you the real one. We've been awesome but we've also been lucky. Our pitching has been just good enough and our hitting has been smoking hot, but we remember when our offense couldn't hit a beach ball, and we worry that Mr Hyde will shrink back to Dr. Jekl at any time. The farther into the season we get the more confident we'll become, but right now we have Halladay and 4 no-name dudes who have pitched way above their pay grades. When we get guys back in the rotation, if the hitting stays lukewarm at worst, THEN you'll see confidence.
Plus the Yankees have gotten into the habit of lowering expectations early in the season and then storming back in the second half, and who knows what the Rays will do, so ya, we're Canadian.
