What Gun Do You Carry?

I dont have a gun yet. but the way the economy is now maybe its time to wise up and starting carrying gun... incase any motherfuckers try to get fresh with me... and shit.. maybe a nice .45 or 9

anyone carry any type of firearms?

The 9MM was made for small children and women, don't waste your time with one. You also shouldn't be packing without a conceal permit or you'll risk going to jail for a long time. HK and Colt make pretty good .45s.

It could end up so that US citizens will only be able to own hunting rifles and shotguns (and then they'll attack that next). We don't have the Second Amendment so people can just run around with guns wherever they go, a lot of people have no idea what the fuck it is about.

Gun restrictions only penalize honest citizens, though. I don't really care about guns one way or another. Being a Canadian it was never an integral part of my country's identity as it developed. But gun registries have always levied hunters and honest hobbiests and you have to be careful the government isn't using gun ban as a means to look busy. In Toronto they banned shooting ranges awhile back before the uproar. Because it made the Mayor look tough on crime and guns. When in actual fact nothing ever happens at gun ranges except people shooting target for fun. It's no more harmful than 10-pin bowling. Point here being the Mayor was grandstanding to get dumb easy votes by coming down on a non-existent threat.

If someone wants to get a gun for murder the chance of a gun registry stopping them is slim to none. If you want guns to be safer and cause less needless casualties the answer is education. How to maintain a gun, how to aim it safely, when not to use a gun (in the house at night if you hear a noise).

Another problem with gun banning is, of course, that the government shouldn't be able to come in to your house and tell you what you can and cannot have. That's a cornerstone of liberty. People of the newer generations are far more apathetic to giving up prior rights without even asking so much as why before complying. Whether it be guns or, whatever (tobacco). It's the same reason the government shouldn't be able to say you can't have weed in your home.

This is entirely true actually. We've had a very extreme version of these forces since 7 or so months after 9/11 if I'm remembering my conspiracy shit correctly. You should try assault rifles. I've fired an AR-15 and AK-47. After firing the AK, I now know why the world loves that gun. It's pretty badass. The AR is a piece of American shit. Damn thing jams quite a bit.

No, it wasn't. It was to stop the government from becoming a runaway entity separate from the people as well as outside threats to liberty. Interesting topic given the economic times and the fact that I just registered for a pistol permit safety course. I didn't do it because of the economy or to start a revolution but I do agree with Drew and Gohron. Every citizen has the right to protect themselves and possess firearms. The process you have to go through to get a pistol permit is a legitimate process that will keep anyone with any kind of legal history or mental health issues from legally owning a handgun.

I grew up with shotguns and rifles that we used for target shooting. Shooting clay pigeons with a shotty or taking out a tin can at a 1/2 mile with a rifle are good times.

I've been meaning to get my pistol permit for awhile and I just happened to come across a guy offering a course today. I can't wait to get a magnum revolver, it's something I've wanted for a long time.

The wife and I have Glock 19s and hit the range when we get the chance. Shotguns and rifles are at the father-in-law's ranch (compound) in BFE West Texas. Case tha guvment takes all a rats n we needa rise up n git em! A teacher buddy of mine moonlights as a NRA instructor, firearms dealer and range co-owner. He's a "carry anywhere it's legal" guy and is always fun to get into discussions about firearm laws with. YAY TEXAS!

Also, fuck the idiots who cry about the 9mm being small. I shoot you with a 9mm, .40, .380, .45 = you are injured/dead. But my 9mm ammo is cheaper and with less recoil I can pop off more rounds with greater accuracy. You go *bang* *bang*, I go *bang bang* *bang*.

I grew up around guns all my life. Not once have I ever seen a gun load itself, aim at a person, and discharge of its own free will. A real, live human has to actually do all this. And if someone is so drive to kill that they will go through those steps, well, they're going to kill. Gun or no gun.
