Master got arrested again. He isn't going to be posting any pictures any time soon.
I wonder where that old shoop of Ed Norton with Master's head went. That was good. Also I saw his pix. They mostly suck and are blurry.
Anyhow, I'd have gotten my one pic from this one up alot sooner if I hadn't spilt another pint of water in another keyboard.
So here's how it went. Met up at Shorty's and I started drinking. M was already there making out with some pro wrestler dude and Cow and all his roommates (cool guys) were there too. Joust showed up and since we were all feeling hungry we went next door to Mama's for MExican awesomeness. Ravi ordered the tofu fajitas and I was so fucking impressed that I'm going to go back there just for that.
Last time M's stated mission was to make out with a chick. Done and done. This time her goal was to make out with all of us. She was able to pull it off with aplomb. Here's a pic of her getting sexy on Cowdisease's ear:

So we got fuller and drunker and then went back to Shorty's for pinballin. I played the CSI one the whole time because it is epic. I wandered off to the pisser and some dude staggered out all "IT'S BRUTAL IN THERE MAN! SOMEBODY PUKED IN THE URINAL!". Sure enough. Anyhow we grew tired of that and decided to walk the dozen or so blocks up to Gameworks to see Big Nate and play some games. He filled the Mr Driller and Namco Museum machines up with credits and I got stoked. Then he challenged me to 3rd Strike and I actually did okay. Anyhow drinikng at Gameworks is only for this country's wealthy super-elite so we wandered off to the Taphouse. When we got here Joust ran out of steam so I shuttled him home. When I got back it was a surprise visit from Master and his beautiful wife! YAY! So we drank and drank and drank. Then Big Nate showed up after work and he pounded alcohol with a vengeance and gave me some sweet tasting beer called a Nick Bockwinkle or some shit.
Then we were fucking wasted and went home.
It was real good to hang with everybody and meet Cow's roommates. I look forward to the next one.
M looks like Aurora in that pic.
Looks like?
New info on upcoming TNL/Seattle meet-ups.
On Saturday, July 18th, Asshat and I will be hosting a barbecue in our house (this was changed from our original plan of July 11th). More details to come soon. As Asshat said earlier in this thread, if you're thinking of attending, mention any dietary concerns and alcoholic preference.
On Monday, August 3rd, M requested that we celebrate her finalized divorce, so I'm announcing this now so that you folks can prepare. M, I know it's about a month away, but any place in particular you want to celebrate? It's your night.
No idea. I'll let you guys know though.
The 18th kicks total ass over the 11th. The biggest tournament in the northwest is the 11th and we've got a bunch of guys in it.
BTW, I really like the username Asshat. Total TNL imo
Alright, folks, here's a reminder that the house party is taking place this Saturday. I've already spoke with some of you about this, but if you're in the Seattle area and are interested in attending, let me know. If you're definitely going, say so since our headcount will determine how much food and alcohol my roommates need to buy for this event.
I'll be there but will have to leave earlyish.
got a show on the 18th. What's this 8/3 business, though, I don't think I have anything going on then.
Here's a final reminder about Saturday's house party starting at 1:00 PM. I've already contacted those who plan to show up, but if you're interested, let me know ASAP so I can PM you the details.
The house party was a smashing success, but it's too bad more TNL people couldn't come. There was plenty of food and alcohol to go around.
The next meetup is on Monday, August 3rd, specifically requested by M to celebrate her finalized divorce. Details coming soon.
Ahhh that's awesome. I vote for somewhere with lots of beer. Pike place brewery? or Tap House?
Usually on mondays I'm drinking lots of cheap, shitty beer. But I'd be down to get all classy and shit. I want to put in my vote for Brower's in fremont (big selection, owned by the same people as bottleworks,) The Stumbling Monk on the hill (smaller but excellent selection, specializing in Belgians,) or the Elysian Brewery on the hill (one of my favorite breweries in town, great food.)
Brower's. Then I can walk home if I get half as hammered as I did Saturday.
As long as the place we're going has a good food selection (or close to a place that has good food), I'm down.
Fremont eh? That's doable. But I'll be running around that day after the hearing trying to get name change stuff started.
But yah, I'll be running around to places after that, but I think I can make it for my own "yay your free!" get together.
Fremont is full of good food. Brower's has great food and there's a hundred places in walking distance.
If not thousands.
Fremont sounds good, lots of diversity.. a good old fashioned pub crawl.
Here's a friendly reminder that the next TNL get-together is this Monday. Place and time TBA.
Brouwer's Cafe? http://www.yelp.com/biz/brouwers-cafe-seattle that place? Sounds good to me. maybe around 7-8 ish?
Feedback pls.
Looks good to me. As for time, I suggest 7:30 PM.
Okay folks. I'm as prepped as I can be for said Divorce nonsense.
Here's my dinner invite to you tnl seattlites:
Come and help me celebrate my divorce at 7-8pm at Brouwer's Cafe in Fremont! My friend Julie and her bf Brian are already on board. It'll be fun. Damnit.
Rsvp?
Swell, bring your gf! I promise to be good. > : D
I'm in.
I won't be there until after 8. And since I'll probably be fading by 10pm...
It'll be fun while it lasts though...
sounds about right. I haven't had a proper amount of sleep in a week.
I just got home from this. I was not in the mood to drink or socialize on the way there. But the beer worked its magic and I had a great time. M may come off a little 'Cyco' but she's really just a nice girl. And she'll be missed by me and the rest of the Seattle TNLers.
Pictures will be up on the thread and my Facebook profile later tonight.
Filthy lies.
Shut up, I was busy.

"Gimmmeeeeeeeeee", the sound M makes whenever beer is near her.

The beer mug was no match for PaCrappa's triangle choke grip. Shakey laughs at its demise.

M with some friend whose name I already forgot.

Good times!

What's going on here?
More pictures are up on my Facebook profile.
katamari shirt ftw
I liked that shirt when I thought it was just an ostrich. Then he pointed out the prince and I got really impressed. Killer fucking shirt.
Also I like that picture of me with the mug. I think I'll send it to my mom :tu:
I already did.
Who is the ghost in front of you?
Indeed, he's the one who brought the care bear uno deck. Also, the girl sitting next to me is Deb, his gf.
I'm like 0-3 for these. When's next?
Don't know. I've become ridiculously busy now that my second year at Digipen has started, but if someone else wants to set it up and suggest some places/things to do, go right ahead.
On Friday, November 6th, 2009, I celebrate my 30th anniversary of escaping from my mother's womb. To mark this very important and momentous occasion, I'm going to celebrate with some friends at the 88 Keys Dueling Piano and Sports Bar in Seattle (map).
The place fills up quick, so we're planning to arrive at 7:00 PM to get a good table and stay till around closing time. If you want to come, let me know so that I can add you to the headcount.
Here's an interest check for the next TNL Seattle Meetup. I'm thinking Saturday, January 23rd, around 6:00 PM at Taphouse. I'm open for suggestions to go to other places though.
Wish I could go!!!
Date has been updated to Saturday, January 30th.
IN!
I can probably come
I'm moving the Taphouse meeting time to 7:00 PM, but otherwise, it's still on for Saturday! I'll be bringing some folks from school, so expect good times.
Question for you Seattle types. Do you have access to Dogfish Head beer in bottles? 750ml bottles and 12oz bottles...
Rebecca and I are planning on moving to Seattle in about 2 years, and this is a great concern of mine.
I don't know off hand but I can think of a couple beer stores that either would have it or could order it. I see plenty of Dogfish around but haven't paid all that close attention. If beer is a concern; it needn't be. Seattle is overloaded with beer snobs.
Bottleworks is one of them. Apparently they even sell some vintage stuff that they cellar themselves.
Something major came up at the last minute, so I won't be free this weekend. New date to be posted soon.
I will, once again, be at the Comet. I could maybe meet up before that, though. Show doesn't start until around 9:30 but I definitely want to see all the bands.
