Two, Tyler Bozak and Christian Hanson, with Bozak being the #1 college FA Burke wanted. And it looks like it's either them or Dallas who might sign Swedish goalie Jonas Gustavsson.

All three players signed (or will be in Gustavsson's case) to an entry-level contract, which isn't the case with 25-year-old Gillroy.

What do Matt Carle, Jordan Leopold, Paul Kariya, Chris Drury, Ryan Miller, Brendan Morrison, Neal Broten, etc... have in common with Bozak and Hanson? Probably nothing. Gilroy, on the other hand, won the Hobey Baker award - just like they did.

And, just for the record, nearly every Hobey Baker awarded winner has played in the NHL. About 50% have played 500 or more NHL games.

And, just for the record, what he signed for is irrelevant if he doesn't make the team. If he ends up a career AHL'er, his salary doesn't count against the cap. The Rangers have excellent young defensement coming up, in addition to Staal and Girardi, in Del Zotto, Sanguinetti, etc...

Hopefully they "Waive" Redden and trade Roszival.

My team doesn't do that faggy shit to begin with. The only thing my team collectively raises towards its fans after a win is the Stanley Cup, which is how it should be.
