That's too bad. That's the team's responsibility though, to provide safety for the players of both teams, and I don't know what kind of pressure Bettman can put on the owners to make sure that shit doesn't happen.
Bettman is sure as shit in charge of slapping fines and suspensions on players and coaches who throw shit at fans though, even if he can't arrest or throw fans out of games for throwing shit.
