Yes. While I have no faith in the judgment of the refs, it can't be worse than any time a stick is horizontal or a glove leaves the stick it's a penalty.

I actually think it was underneath (by the armpit). Still, calls like that will get me to stop watching hockey at some point. It's really maddening.
That one was legit, at least against a butterfly goalie. I hate that style, but Luongo wasn't going to stop Green from right there either.
On a positive note, if these refs are in NY, they aren't in Raleigh.
