PediSedate - Don't Ever Let Your Kids Play Game Boy "Fighter Pilot"

There's some mildly graphic surgical stitching (with crying and child restraint) at the beginning of the video, so be careful viewing this at work. The broader subject matter might also cause some concern, so, yeah, watch this on your own time.

PediSedate is basically a colorful headset that pediatricians can use in conjunction with another distraction (the video uses Donkey Kong Game Boy) to lull a child into a drugged-out state. It's a happy playtime toy that provides "a convenient method of delivering nitrous oxide" to minors.

I guess it was too creepy to succeed beyond some clinical testing, because as far as I know it was being tested in 2002 and is not in current use, but if you see any test units or prototypes laying around, run them over with your car. The best place to look is next to Mzo's Wii.

I'd have to say; one of the worst things I ever hear at work is a distressed child be put under sedation; Crying and then a sharp sudden horrible silence.

I gotta say, nitrous oxide is the most fun shit ever.

I also have to say, sleeping children are the only types of good children. Fucking monsters they are.
