The golf is definitely worth $10. It's a watered down Hot Shots, but the 360 really doesn't have anything in that arena that I am aware of. Super Contra is just Super Contra. I wish it had tate support, but there isn't a big screen game in that series I wouldn't buy on XBLA/VC/PSN, until the PS1 versions of course...

It's 389 at Amazon with free shipping. A 2GB SODIMM module is all of twenty bucks.

It's probably the best bang:buck in netbooks right now. Windows 7 runs great on it, it will handle WoW and similar games on low settings around 30 FPS.

Considering I beat it in under 4 hours with 4 stars (and a ton of 5 stars) on every stage. Yes, I consider it to be too short. Or maybe too easy, after the difficulty of the first game. Either way, it was "too" something, but still an awesome and fun game.

GameStop's continued existence is a testament to how stupid the average American consumer is. Their two biggest boons are their exploitation of the used market and their preorder fear mongering. No one with a reasonable number of firing neurons would ever sell or buy used games there or preorder anything where money down is required. And yet, GameStop has 7,000,000 locations often right next to one another. No wonder our economy sucks. Our citizens are fucking morons.

Agree on the preordering thing. Although some can argue that the special goodies that supposedly come with preordering for certain titles are worth the initial $5-10 down. I OTOH will not trust GS to hold the goodies for me after the Metal Gear 3 Subsistence fiasco (their fucking employees took all the bonus DVDs and hoard/sold/gave them to friends).

Buying used when there is a 20/30% coupon (and an extra 10% Edge) can be a good deal though.

I agree except for the buying used games part. They can be good for finding some rare PS2 games for under $10. I just bought Tsugunai: Atonement the other day there.

My digital camera died, E3 is next week, I didn't have time to do the full range of research I'd normally do before dropping this kind of money, especially at retail. Still, after checking the reviews (box is unopened so far, but the display model sold me) it looks like a good purchase. I hate doing this kind of purchase in a hurry, though.

Only reason I did it is so I get the code to get a Golden Proton pack in the game, I hardly ever buy games from GS/EB. Nor do I hardly ever buy new games, I just get them used or if I do get them new I buy them from work so I can use my employee discount on it.

Got the GameStop-exclusive preorder bonus weapon dealie even though I didn't pre-order. Dude said they had a bunch left over so he gave it to me anyways.

Also, I tried redeeming the Uncharted 2 beta code but it tells me the code is invalid. I'm assuming I have to wait until 6/3 to download, correct?
