I've actually been spending a great deal of time on a site where you can create your own multiplayer games. It's called ChallengeYou, and it I'm spending a lot of time there (even when I'm at work). If you're interested here it is: http://www.challengeyou.com/
Ah, the inevitable spam at last!
Klonoa (Wii)- Beautiful but painfully easy.
Super Hang-On (Genesis)- Along with Space Harrier 2 the only 3D Sega title I've enjoyed on the Genny, very speedy with nice spritework and control. Always hoped Sega would give it a go on more recent hardware, the Saturn rev was a pretty thin package.
Out of this World (Genesis)- During the 16 bit days I got bored with this, no patience for the trial/error and memorization. Has held up surprisingly well, may have to check out Heart of the Alien.
Heart of the Alien definitely isn't as good as the original but I liked it. It wasn't made by the original creator but they imitated the style pretty well.
I have been replaying Pikmin 2, my favourite GC exclusive. I played through it in 2004 and this is my second trek through. So charming and addictive. If anyone here still hasn't played the Pikmin games, they're missing out big time.
I pulled Resistance 2 back out of my closet this weekend to work on finally finishing the single player. Playing an FPS with a pad is so damned painful, but at least the game is good. If I can will my way to the end, I may finally give Killzone 2 a try.
Ridge Racer 7--this series is so stale, I dunno why I keep playing it
Motorstorm 2--finally started paying this after buying it at launch. It rules like the first
Deathsmiles--awesome, can't wait for MBL even though I suck at the regular game
Going to start playing RFA again now that other people are ;p
Playing the following:
Gears (duh)
C&C RA3 (working on soviet campaign and skirmish)
Force Unleashed (meh, trade fodder)
Outrun arcade (meh)
And
Samurai Warriors 2 Empires. Best 10 bucks I've spent in a while, mixes just enough Romance of the 3 kingdoms and Nobunaga's Ambition with an improved battlefield model to hit my interest. So far have about 1/3 of Japan with Nobunaga and I having an all out war on the eastern front.
~ Crimson Tears ~
Always.
I forgot that a friend of mine gave me a copy of Ehrgeiz way back. I also bought Blood Will Tell from someone here a long time ago and forgot about that too. I will be playing these this month, I think!
I haven't given a shit about the Warriors games in years now, but from the sounds of it there's actually an element of strategy in where/how battles take place now rather than just playing through scenario after scenario? This interests me.
