One part is motion capture and pitch shifted voice acting, one isn't. Nobody will notice.
I think relations between Fox and Marvel have probably improved since Ike Perlmutter was forced out by Kevin Feige going over his head and saying "Ike goes or I do." They were able to come to a deal for that Legion TV show, which would have been unthinkable not too long ago. I'm half expecting Silver Surfer to pop up in that space arena in Thor Ragnarpk.
I think the deal is basically "For gods sake stop making Fantastic 4 movies and we'll let you make an X-Men tv show."
Man, that'd be ace if they could work out something with F4 or just relinquish the rights. The MCU would be well-served by Doom stepping in and taking Loki's spot as a recurring villain for a few movies.
Plus I feel like once Thanos is out of the way, Galactus is the obvious choice to one-up him as the next bunch of films' looming threat.
I don't think they have any choice, there's only so many big tent pole things you can hang Marvel stories on without those characters. I'm not sure the Inhumans are worth a shit by themselves.
Yeah, the MCU needs Dr. Doom badly.
Only if it's the REAL Doom and not some hacker/industrialist asshole. He needs to be Eastern European, have his armor, and rule Latveria. That could happen in the MCU, but would Fox be willing to let Marvel highlight their ineptitude regarding the character?
If they get a pile of money, which is all this is about, they'll probably get over it.
