Just beat it. Loved the ending, but it makes me even more scared for the sequel and its "ROUGH AND AGGRESSIVE" soundtrack. Overall I'd say it was a great game but there's a TON of shit I absolutely hated about it, mostly everything that wasn't the combat.
Dear Developers: You made Castlevania.
Not Dante's Inferno
Not Portal
Not Tomb Raider.
Next time keep the combat the same and please stay in the fucking castle.
Best thing about this game: mashing up & jump while hanging from a ledge with another ledge directly above it.
The game says: "fuck you you're hanging out until I say you can go"
... it's always either that or "fuck you, you need to move one arms length to the left for no reason, then you can climb"
I don't understand the issue. The only parts that were at all annoying in terms of climbing were the titan fights, but that was more the memorization than the actual gameplay.
The first titan, I said, oh cool, it's like SoTC.
By the last I was like, seriously? This shit again? It was boring.
The parts in the castle were GREAT, except for the generic movie vampires. I want to know what this game was before they got the license.
