I did a search and found nothing so here it is. I'm not sure how this hasn't been mentioned yet since it debuted in 08. It's by Konami so I can't really see them making a game like this and it not being part of the CV universe.

This looks to have potential. That debut trailer was obnoxious, though. Half of it was just the guy kneeling and close-ups of his bazillion different weapons.

It doesn't look laughably amateurish like every other 3D Castlevania, and it certainly seems to have an actual budget behind it this time, but that's about all I can see right now. I'm not excited, but I am interested.

Unfortunately it looks that way.... One of the main aspects of Cvania is going to be fucked up again, the platforming. The only 3D Cvania series that even attempted it was the N64 series, while less than stellar, was better than any PS2 era Cvania . I'm cautious about this one. Scrapland was better than Jericho at least but still nothing spectacular. This video looks awesome in presentation but it doesn't show much gameplay substance. I want to see some cool platform jumping sections in 3d action games, not just beat 'em ups over and over.

Zone of the Enders, Boktai, and the Metal Gear Acid series are all pretty solid stuff. The titles he's had tertiary involvement with have mostly turned out better than the stuff he's been totally in control of. Which bodes well for this.Quote:
