So what amazing free to play day one pc games did I miss out on then? Mods don't count. I'm talking AAA retail quality.
Im all for good shit, give me a list of stuff I can play.

So the alternative to "shit" is "amazing" and "AAA"? I guess Halo is shit then, given those choices. There is a lot of free-to-play stuff on Steam now. Specifically, Tribes: Ascend and Blacklight: Retribution are supposed to be good, despite not being my cup of tea.

edit: Need for Speed World is also good, despite being browser based.

Various MOBAs, MMOs, FPS', and dungeon crawlers that you wouldn't like anyway.

I hear LoL is pretty big. Tribes is the closest to a AAA f2p that I can think of off the top of my head.

I kind of hate it.

But yeah, it's all stuff you wouldn't care about anyway, so I understand the shit comment. Not necessarily true but I wouldn't give someone trouble for it.
