The Iranian people most likely voted for Mousavi, a moderate who's for lessening the conservative Muslim hold on the country. He also wants better relations with the outside world. Even if he's not a friend he's by far a better enemy than Ahmadinejad, and therefore worthy of our support in this particular instance. Politics isn't about friends and enemies, it's about people who can work together until such a time as they can't any more. Kind of like the business world you pretend to know so much about.
