No one said first parties are going to roll over and like it. Obviously the first party system is good for the first parties. Louis XV had a pretty good thing going for a while too.

But the fact is, the first parties are nothing without the third parties. If they get behind a third party standard because it will make them more money, then there's not much they can do.

and as long as third parties make more money on multi-platform releases, multiple platforms will stick around!

vv 1) it's not even out yet, 2) exclusive content is obviously going to skew sales results, especially if it's good exclusive content; but neither of those points negates the fact that the dev/pub of the batman game are making more on having it on multiple platforms than locked into just one platform
