Which is becoming moot because instant 1080p is coming like next week to the 360, and they've been including the extras as bonus (Free) dl's for the movies.

And stop talking like those two systems are 'marginal' increases over the Wii. The difference between 50 dollars (Wii) and 300 (360/PS3 without some of the stuff that doesn't affect power) is huge, but the difference past that becomes smaller.

Everybody, shortly. Which business model do you think hardware makers are going to be looking to emulate next round? Expensive-ass all new hardware that they take a loss on every unit sold for half a decade, or an overclocked GameCube with a couple extra hardware shaders tacked on bundled with a motion control gimmick? A strategy that is making the hardware maker RICH on units sold alone, it bears mentioning.

Well no, because if that was the future (which it may be), none of us here would be playing it so it would make this discussion completely moot...it'd be a zero console future (PC only for me)
