So I know a lot of TNL likes the game... It's supposed to be due out in the fall. They've reintroduced point-to-point racing, improved on every aspect of the driving and completely overhauled the visual quality.

Forza 2 didn't have quite the lasting power that the GoW games had here, but it did get burn for much longer than most games on TNL. That and even after most people passed on it, there would be blips of activity anyway.

NICE! My ATHF Car. I really hope I can get a replacement 360 for this. If I do end up purchasing a new console, it is gonna be the MW2 Elite, but I can borrow my roommates 360 for the time being I suppose.

Got it. Its pretty awesome. Tried online play quick. Picked a car from the fastest class in the game. Nobody else did. I lapped everyone my first race :) Also, whats the crown icon mean by some people's names?

Only problem here is some people charge absurd amounts for only slightly nice decals.
I'm leaving work early so I can buy this shit tonight, so I can get a hour or so in before dinner, then ill be back on most of the evening.
I really wish it let you import your Forza 2 cars. My Lancia Delta Interagle and Pugeot 207 are brutal, brutal cars that I spent hours tuning.

One tiny problem that I have with the single player, as do many others. In season mode, it seems like your PI index has nothing to do with your starting position. Instead you start last in your first season, then you move up 1 place in season 2, etc etc. There is no qualifying option, so you are stuck this way. Later seasons won't matter to much cause you will start further ahead, but for the first few seasons, at least 1 and 2, the laps are short making it difficult to get out in front cleanly even with a good car.
I'll get this before the week is over, I plan on getting the wheel too at some point. Forza is Jesus.
The wheel is useless unless you have a good chair/table setup, but the demo works much better than F2.

Game is great. Wildkat and I had a few online matches. You can now add AI cars in your races, which I at least don't remember being able to do in Forza 2 and still get credit and experience for the races. There are some really good new maps. controls are even better. Overall a great experience. More people need to get this asap and get online.

The movie making and picture taking could use a little work. During movie making, you have no free control over the camera, just different set positions that you can cycle through. Secondly, you tell the movie where to start and how long to last, but that's it. So you pretty much have to make a ton of clips of the angels you want and then use an external editor to actually make a cool movie.
Picture taking is almost identical to Forza 2... well it is identical, but I am not sure if it is working the way it is supposed to. Adjusting shutter speed works fine, but I see absolutely no difference when adjusting the focus, and aperture doesn't exactly do what it is supposed to. It just makes the entire photo blurry rather than giving or taking away the depth of field. Hopefully they will fix this soon as it is really limiting on the look of pictures you can output.

Its not you, the loading sucks. Even after installing the game, the loads are still pretty long. Its my only complaint with the game, which is a pretty damn small complaint.
So is it worth installing the game or the reducting in loading is minimal?
It has been reported that installing FM3 decreases the load time by 6 or more seconds.
I don't know if that's accurate, because I don't have my copy yet.
Word of advice. Do not do a very long race on Benchmark Speedway. No pit. Can't refuel and can't replace tires. Very bad idea. I got 22 laps into it and then couldn't drive another foot.
The rewind button is a god send.
Installing the game does reduce load times so I highly recommend it.
Slowly trying to build a collection of good cars for each class.
If you like driving sims, this is one heck of a package. If you don't, stay away.
I did a 50 lap race on sunset speedway with R1's last night. Had smodcast playing in the background and it was actually pretty fun. Not sure how long it took, but I ended up getting 96,000 credits and leveled up twice.
I'm about to do another one in about 30-45 minutes. Either going to do Benchmark 75 laps with no damage since there is no pit or 75 laps Sunset with damage and collisions on. Anyone interested in some mad cash?
I am interested, but I am still setting up my TV (got a new stand) so I won't be on for at least another hour.
