The year they were 6-10 with 2 wins vs the 6-10 Cowboys?

Could be. That would certainly qualify as worse than 8-7.
So much for the vaunted NFC East....
The Giants' record is better than the Patriots' would be in that division. The Giants would be 12-3 or some shit in the AFC East.
I doubt it, the way Giants played yesterday, I doubt they could have beaten the Browns.
AFC east do suck, but NFC east aren't really that much better. I would put arrange the 8 teams this way.
Eagles = Patriots > Cowboys > Jets > Giants > Dolphins > Redskins > Buffalo
Buffalo, we can all agree they are the worst team out of this group.
Redskins, not really that much better than Buffalo.
Dolphins, they are inconsistent, and I think they are a little better than their record but it is what it is.
Giants, started out strong and then completely collapsed. Their D looks like mashed potato. I think Dolphins is actually better than the Giants at this point, but I give Giants the nod over Dolphins only because they actually have a multigame winning streak.
Jets, great defense and superb running game sinked by an INT throwing machine.
Cowboys, inconsistent through the season but finally playing to their expectation. Need a coaching change.
Patriots/Eagles, both playing much better lately and can beat (almost) anyone on any given Sunday.
I would say the 2 divisions aren't as far apart as you think. But ymmv.
I am!
Fun fact, the Raiders have more playoff victories than the Cowboys/Redskins COMBINED in this decade....
Use that useless stat while you can. It's about to expire.
Cowboys would have to win at least 2 games just to get even with DA RAIDERS!!! Good luck with that.
