The other one that got me was the Texans. They looked like they were playing in fucking long johns.
Anyway.

To TO's credit, he was wide open on a couple of deep balls that would've been TDs had Edwards hit him in stride instead of sailing them ten feet over TO's head.
That said, I'm glad I dumped him in fantasy. The TO - Edwards connection just hasn't happened at all yet, and at this point, maybe never will.
"joust vows never to watch the nfl again every season"
I've said that before once, but yeah, I'm done. I gave away my TV today (this was pre-planned). Baseball's over. Don't see a need to buy another one soon. Don't need to waste 3.5 hours wondering how the refs are going to give this one away.
waaaaaaaaaaaaaah
oh shut up, you whine about shit more than anyone
Joust, meet Advocate. Advocate, meet Joust.
I care about 2 teams. One is 3-0, the other has 100 wins. Suck on it, loser. Go cry about how your crap team with ugly ass uniforms can't win for shit somewhere else. It's a good thing you gave up now, because they're going to get their asses handed to them in Indy next week.
lol
Colts and Yankees
BANDWAGON FAN...that is pretty pathetic
Here's the only team you have ties to
( Click on an event for complete event information )
Date Opponent / Event Location Time
09/05/09 at California Berkeley, Calif. L, 52-13
09/12/09 vs. James Madison College Park, Md. W, 38-35 (OT)
09/19/09 vs. Middle Tennessee State College Park, Md. L, 32-31
09/26/09 vs. Rutgers College Park, Md. L, 34-13
I gotta say, that win at home versus James Madison looks mighty good
I forgot, that's not your team. hmm no wonder you hide behind the Yankees and the Colts
I don't think the refs were the ones slamming into each other when they tried to tackle Devin Hester on the game-winning slant pattern that should've gone for only a few yards.

Who cares? I didn't say they played a perfect game. I said show me ONE replay where that call could have been conclusively overturned.
They were dominating the game up until that point, and that bullshit call took a lot of wind out of their sails.

the play is at :48 seconds. Show me where you can turn that from a fumble to a non-fumble. Hell, a basic knowledge of physics shows that that's a fumble. One frame after he might be on the ground, the ball is 3 feet away from his hand.
Sorry, but the knee looked down to me, bro. The neutral NFL.com recap also agrees that the refs made the right call. Maybe you just need to take off your neon-green Seahawks shades.
Even then, it's not like it was an automatic TD after that overturn. The Seahawks still had a chance to stop the Bears on 4th and goal and couldn't get it done.
Not to mention the wealth of opportunities they had in the second half to win the game after that.
Point is, you're going to get a few calls against your team over the course of any game; it's how you react to them that determines whether you're a winner or a loser -- not the calls themselves.
Losers cry about the bad calls after the game; winners put it behind them and do something about it while the game's still going on.
