August 2009 Haul Thread

An acquaintance of mine who is a sorta collector called me earlier. He was at a thrift store that had some 3DO games, and since I sorta collect them he called me to see if I was interested. He rambled off a bunch of junk games and then mentioned Dino Park Tycoon. I played it cool and hammed and hawed and finally told him to get four of the crap games he mentioned, and grab that Tycoon thing as well. All the games were missing long box but had case, instructions, and back cover where applicable. All games were $2 a piece.

He showed up a few minutes ago with the four crap games. "Wasn't there five games?" I ask. He got a funny look on his face and said he didn't know what I was talking about.
Faggot looked all the games up and saw that DPT was quite the rarity and kept it to sell on eBay.
So now I have four shitty 3DO games that I didn't really want.

You're missing the "fuck my life" at the end there.

He did offer to trade it to me for about $140 worth of xbox 360 games, but I declined. I don't want it that badly, no matter what it's worth (I have no idea, I just know it's a grail of 3DO).

Grabbed Field Commander for $3 at a local shop and the SNK collection is $5 at TRU. Viking & DBZ Burst Limit were both $5 at Sears.
