Shhhh he's trying to claim king faggot of the thread.
You know, some people just aren't built for Math. Others aren't built for spelling. Still others aren't built for humility. Even more people have no idea what the fuck they want to be in their lives and go to college to figure shit out as much as they do to get a degree. So chill out man.
well no, I couldn't hit the ground running with it. But I also couldn't fly up to Baltimore tonight and do what Josh does just on the fly. But I'm pretty sure I could do the same crap you did in school and get similar marks or better.
I don't think anyone said that.
I never said I could but you're making it out to seem like I'm trying to measure dicks with you. You're here laughing at me for having to take Calc 2 for a second semester but I'm not busting you balls over failing writing in high school.
I'm envious of people that can make a successful living without a degree, honestly.
QFT. Many of the degrees offered also do not match the needs of our current employment opportunities. Most people would be better off getting a focused two year degree or vocational training to make a decent living.
I wish more people thought like this. It's sad to see a person with a valuable skill set losing out on opportunity because they don't have the right degree.
Currently, I have an AAS, BS, and MS degrees. I begin working on my second masters degree in a couple of weeks.
it isn't about being built for shit. I'm not built for a ton of shit I do. This whole idea that you should be naturally good at things is bullshit. Its a fucking lie that holds a lot of people back. There are tons of miserable fucks out there that give up on doing shit because they try, and its hard, and they just shit themselves and go home.
There are a lot of good people on this board that are not naturally good at what they do. They had to keep trying and putting forth effort to get good.
This isn't even about math. Nomi does this at least once a month. She complains about whatever thing, and it always ends up being something that she made excuses for and hasn't really really tried to deal with.
I didn't even read over this part of his post.
Please feel free to do what I did in college. I'll list it for you:
Three scholarships
National Honor Society
Published in a national magazine
Worked at two different newspapers before I graduated
Became the only PR person for a local museum
Have fun.
