You just don't appreciate the genius of Hirokazu Yasuhara, the true voice of our generation. No Sonic game since Sonic 3 has gotten the level design right because it is motherfucking hard to pull off. In Mega Man and Castlevania you can throw a bunch of baddies and ladders in a bucket and shake it around, but Sonic levels require the touch of a master. It's like Feng Shui.
