As for me, I've been fairly lucky. Couple of speeding tickets, a ticket for crossing a double white line, getting a ticket for my registration being nine months expired while completely blitzed. They didn't notice the blitzed part. I also got a minor in possession back in '98. They found a roach in my ashtray, so we got the body search. By a master stroke of good fortunehey didn't find the rock of coke in my pocket.

You forgot the option for a felony offense. I could not care less about parking tickets: they are not reflective of a person's ability to drive nor of their judgment. I don't get moving violations; once a cop gave me a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign when I did. Fought it and won. But then, the one time I drove drunk I rolled through a sobriety checkpoint ftw.

Carrollton PD - it was like a fucking Hyatt! Hot Pockets, new soft bed, pillow, and in a cell with only one guy, who was charged with a hit and run and high as a kite on ecstasy, there solely for my entertainment. I almost didn't want to leave!

Hill County PD - old, smelly, in a tank with six other smelly guys, a hard smelly pad to lay on, a nasty wool blanket, no pillow, and some awful porridge looking shit for breakfast. Oh... and did I say guys? I meant redneck, meth heads and one nineteen year old, muddy, cowboy puking all over the place. And you had to smell that shit.


EDIT: Oh! Oh! So, there were seven of us in this one cell, right? Well, when I got out I noticed there was a black dude in a cell all by himself. Good Ol' Texas. Still segregatin'!

Spent a couple days in County for finishing a fight my former stepfather started. He called the cops on me after he realized that I'm wasn't that 6th grader he used to beat on. I got arrested on a domestic and tampering (because I unplugged the phone when he tried to call the cops). Never mind he tried to come at me with a frying pan.

This event took place on Halloween, a.k.a. my birthday. Best 'worse birthday ever' I've had so far.

Epilogue: I got out, all charges dropped. A few months after this fight occurred, he got brain cancer and died. He's kitty litter now.

I've been charged two traffic violations (both speeding) but only conficted of one since I knew a cop. One time, and it was dismissed, not plea bargained.

The other time I failed to appear in court because I went to COLLEGE, and even though I called to reschedule the court date they apparently forgot, and they issued a warrant for my arrest.

I sent them some money and didn't hear anything else about it.

I should note, the only time I've been formerly charged, it was dismissed as "No criminal intent".
The worst thing on my record is "PA Land Violation", which was a bullshit "illegal camping" charge.
Besides that, the only other thing that shows up are parking tickets ("Sign Violation") on county internet records.

I hear you on the cop bait thing. Couple years back I was coming home from going on a McDonald's run, it's late, bout 2:00AM, I was working at Chili's as a dishwasher. I pull into this neighborhood, and because my tags were from Orange County (my uncle lives near the tag office, and he helped foot the bill on car registration at the time), the cop pulls me over, starts giving me the third fucking degree. Am I high? Have I been drinking? Why am I out here? Where are you from, you don't look like you're from around here. Got frisked, got the car searched. I mean, he actually called in another deputy, just to confirm I was who I was (got a speeding ticked earlier that day).

All for what? Nothing.

Kind of a followup to the BirthJail thing, last year I'm in Maryland, out in Easton. My birthday, it's about 1:00AM, I decide to head up the street and get some cigarettes. There's a convenience store either a mile left of where I was staying, or a mile right. I could use a walk, cool night air and everything. Right from the driveway would've taken me to a 711, but I'm out on 50 and that stretch ain't exactly illuminated. Left? A Royal Farms, and there's plenty of streetlights and whatnot. Also a good share of businesses. So, being Halloween, 1:00AM, and knowing what kind of asshats drive in Talbot Co., I figure I'd be smart and walk to the Royal Farms.

I'm not 50 yards down the road, I get lit up. Four fucking cars, a total of seven fucking deputies. Who am I, what am I doing, where am I going, where are you staying, why aren't you in Florida, blah blah blah.

All for a pack of cigarettes. Fuckin' hell.

I started fighting my tickets and realized it was a big waste of my time (as the procedure was created to be a big waste of my time). Once in the many times I fought did I win and that was after the cop didn't show up 3 times in a row.

Looks like D_N_G is the hardest motherfucker on TNL.

That sounds more like the good, ole boys of Garland PD. btw, pulling you out of your car through the window... not a joke. Almost got to experience the grandure of Killeen after a rough night at a strip joint, but the Ft. Hood MPs talked them into letting myself and three out of Hood get back on base for punishment instead.

I have the worst tickets of all time.

I honestly find it pretty insulting that I can be fined and otherwise penalized for this shit. Eff the man.
