I can sympathize a little. I still have that sort of memory for all cartoons, scifi movies, and toys before like 1992. I can go to yard sales and organize piles of junk by show and series. I know what parts go to what for toys I've never owned.
I think public school cured me though. Physics isn't quite as cool Optimus Prime.
