They have, and the Devils have been playing like shit for like three weeks now. Ever since Elias moved to wing. Really. But this is rock bottom.

Perhaps they didn't do it specifically to target our team but it hurt our team the most as we were built that way, and guess what, we're still in the mix every year.

There is near universal acceptance that the trapezoid was specifically targeted at the Devils. The cap was targeted at the Atlantic division, Red Wings, Stars, Avalanche, Blues, and Maple Leafs. The rest of the bullshit rule changes were aimed at the Devils and all the teams that tried and failed to copy them. Draw a Venn Diagram of those three and see what's in the middle.

I think they actually had it here a month ago for one of the cup celebration nights.
