Gaborik actually dropped the glove first - I think he had a senior moment or something. If someone jumps in there then they get tossed and the nearest guy was Girardi who is probably our 2nd best defensive defenseman. I think if this would've been game 5 instead of game 50 or the Rangers had a 10-15 point cushion on a playoff spot then the response would've been different. Avery did take him on later, though.
Error - I've watched quite a few Oilers games lately and it seems they're in every game and just end up losing somehow. I hope your GM doesn't trade Cogs (unless it's to us. :D ) because that would be a mistake.
Cow: I'm not blaming Brodeur - but the staff needs to stop listening to him and needs to start sitting him here and there.
