So apparently some of the players Brian Burke brought in to be good quality leaders and bring it every night types are saying they'd rather just play for a winner, thanks. Specifically Jamal Mayers, but Garnett Excelby is also asking to be traded, since he can't seem to find a way onto the ice. Burke continues to show me that he's nothing but a blow hard.

I'm not sure how it is surprising that guys who came from Atlanta and the post-cap Blues would finally want to play for a winner. I guess the question would be why the hell they signed with Toronto. This the same franchise that the Devils held to seven shots in a playoff game when the Leafs were allegedly competitive. You used to go to Toronto to be overpaid.
