Alright, now that we've established that all is right in the world again, the trade deadline is in a couple of days. Who do we think is going where? I suspect that a few players might be moved thanks to the Olympics, due to chemistry. The Ducks, for example, might try to grab Morrow.
I am not sure where this expectation of resigning him came from. It was always an outside chance. I wouldn't pay him anywhere near what the market would dictate, and I am pretty sure Lou feels the same way. The only chance is if he takes a Hossa-like short term deal with playoff opportunities virtually guaranteed at a lower cost.Quote:

The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded forward Alexei Ponikarovsky to the Pittsburgh Penguins for defenceman Martin Skoula and forward Luca Caputi.
Great move for both teams, Leafs get a Burke-type forward prospect in Caputi, Pens add the talented Top 6 winger they needed in Poni. Big addition by the Pens.
Skoula to Devils for who knows what.
Morris back to Phoenix (LOL) for a 4th.
This trade was indeed good for both teams. Caputi is a future talent and Skoula played well when our team was decimated with injuries. I just hope Poni plays well with Malkin.Quote:
